Hi just getting into this windsurfing lark.Got my first board from ebay a Bic Rap with a volume of 80 ltrs.
Yep I now realise this is too small but hey it was only 32.Since then I have got hold of a Hi fly Maxx s.This is the one with a dagger board.
At 305 long and 70cm wide I can see a vast difference in size.Having not yet used the board does anyone know if ive made another mistake. The reviews seem good but i would appreciate some real world advice.
Thanks

I could be wrong but think that is board I used at a training school when I started. I found this to be exellent and mentioned to instructer that I might get one for myself, he told me that although good for training purposes I would quickly grow out of it. Having said that depending on what you paid for it you should get your money back when it's time to sell as there is always someone looking for beginers boards.

Hi
Just had alook in the Hi Fly Catalogue the comments are The Maxx andMatrix help you learn funboard- surfing techniqes as if they were a breeze. both boards are also available with daggerboards, making them suitable as beginner boards for sporty starters, kids and women.

I learnt on a maxx, they are fine, bombproof and should do the trick nicely! Wouldn't fancy being a beginner in this weather though - that would be enought o put anyone off! enjoy
