Any help regarding which equipment for me ? 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi, I'll try and keep this short. Used to windsurf in Spain on an old Mistral longboard during the 90's. Many years have passed and after an injury to my back I want to get back into the sport, more for social and fitness reasons than anything else. My question here is: What sort of board and sails would you recommend ? I'm 6ft, weigh 90 kg, used to be able to gybe and water start but I know the equipment is a lot different today so any help would be great. I'm looking for a good all-rounder (probably freestyle) that I will be able to progress on and use for many years to come. All advice would be most grateful. David

Hi David,

We supply beginner and intermediate Windsurfing Gear from BIC and they are really popular with all levels of sailor. BIC have been making kit for years and I'm sure you'll remember them from the 90's.

Check out the link. We're more than happy to discuss requirements with you.

Cheers

Hi David,
Rather than buy kit which may turn out to be an expensive mistake why not attend a demo day? Or if you can afford it go on a Neilson holiday, suggest Vassiliki where you can try various makes and sizes of board plus get expert tuition to improve your skills
Regards, Steve
