So... I know there isn't an answer to this question but I wanna see what over people think!

I run a camp for teenagers in the summer sailing & windsurfing in the lakes. We currently have a range of board from Starboard Starts down to a Carve 101.

I recently read an article suggesting that intermediates/improvers shouldn't move so quickly onto boards without daggerboards. Currently we've got a bit of a jump between Large Viper/N-trance size to the 160ish freerides (Hornet 154, X-Cite ride 160). The article was saying that people should stay on small begineer boards (smaller vipers, hifly mambo/matrix) until they are comfortable waterstarting.

I'm looking into buying some new kit and though i'd get some other ideas. What do you think?
