The guy in video makes it look easy!!!!

First time it came out was in the mid 80's, I think it was called the wind warrior, have to shuffle thro the decaying pile of old mags in the loft.

The original was fixed to the deck via a short mast with a 180deg joint at the top so the wing could be used on starboard, port tack and horizontal to get longer jumps.

Saw a couple of pics from Maui but nothing impressive and it didn't take off, bear in mind boards were made from reinforced concrete and sils from teatowles in the good old days.
