home for kit in WK... please 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I am a student at liverpool university looking to leave my kit at west kirby as I have no means lug it all about. I have been in contact with the sailing clubs and wardens all who have been very unhelpful. Any suggestions in realtions to kit storage and a local club to join would be much appreciated. I am generally looking to get involed in wave and bump and jump so if anyone has any suggestions on a better place in the liverpool area that would also be much appreciated (bearing in mind my restrictions)

thanks

thanks for suggestion, I have been in contact with the club. Unfortunately the club only has storage in crosby, which having done almost all my saling at queen mary reservoir is not something that is appealing to me- I tried sailing there last year but am looking to progress into more advanced condtions (I appreciate the scope for freestyle but that isnt really something that inspire me and with no means to move my kit I must choose my spot wisely!).

I am a qulaified level 1 instructor and would be happy to offer my services to anyone in exchange for a place to keep my suff (with finacial) or work for a club on the weekends.

any bright ideas??

there will probably be club members at the uni who will travel to WK when there is wind, you could get a lift with kit, just a suggestion. That's how it will work at bangor (hopefully), you must drop by rhossy some time.
