Does anyone know anything about Scotman's Flash near Pemberton, Wigan ?

Yes, mid size lake not far from junction 25 on the north bound M6, good in south/east directions mainly, take junction 25 to rounabout, take first left onto dual carriageway, keep in right hand lane through traffic lights to next rounabout, take right hand turn, straight through next set of lights approx 1/4 mile, up the hill to a speed camera then take the right hand turn into Rushdene Road, the flash is at the bottom through the green gates.
There is a council run windsurfing/sailing place that you can get beginner to intermediate lessons on Sat mornings from 9:30 to 12:00, just turn up and pay etc, approx £12.00 for the morning including kit hire and tuition.
There is also Wigan Sailing Club there, meets on a Sunday or you catch people on Sat mornings etc.
Please note, you have to be a member of the sailing club or pay on Sat mornings to sail.
