happy new year to you all you Northern types!!, I am just hoping that it is as windy as last year, and that I am not as Busy as last year!!! Anyway...as the title of the post suggests I am in ireland in June and and am wondering if anyone has been to Jamie Knox in June and if so is this a time to hope for decent wind? Any information appreciated.

Can't comment on June, but was there for the UKWA wave event in May last year (and hoping to be back again this year), and we got wind-and-a-half. Not all the time mind, but enough to make a good week. I guess as with anywhere that relies on West Atlantic weather patterns, it's uncertain, but if you're looking for somewhere that the odds are good, Brandon Bay must be a good bet. And if there's somewhere where you'd still like to be if the wind fails, Brandon Bay must be a good bet.

Cool place and the crack is grand. Wind is wind and can be fickle where ever you go but percentage wise your in with a good chance.
