I'm off for a chilled out week at the end of the month with the other half to St Cast on the north coast of Brittany. The caravan park we're stopping at is right on the coast and has a path down to the nearest beach that faces NW and there's a pretty big beach round the corner facing NE.
Anyone else been round there and know what the conditions can be like or the type of sailing I should expect? Cruising on the big board or playing on the wave board? If the conditions are right of course. And if so, where should I aim for?

Please find here the details
-Saint cast: NO or N E freeride to bump and jump, with rare session of good wave
-Erquy Carroual beach S0 to O freeride good bump and jump and sometimes good onshore or side shore wave conditions could be big
-Saint Malo le sillon SO wave, Beware no beaches left at high tide
-Lancieux from S to SE N to N E free_style_ and speed Shallow at low tide, a few well defined rocks!!!! Some time 80cm of swell can come lots of Kite
-Further away The dossen SO great wave spot beware of courrant
I suggest either formula and big sails or free_style_ wave with sails from 7 to 4 could be very windy some times.

Mind you if you are in front of the "plage de la marre" strong courrant and lots of rock, usually no one sailing here

thanks for that - should be useful.
I'll be over from this saturday for a week, and coming back early on the 3rd, so will probably miss you.
Which is 'le Plage de la marre'? St Cast?
We're at the Eurocamp site with access to one of the small beaches that faces NW. That one?

depending on the windguru forecast i'll hopefully be taking the wave/free_style_ board.
