Such are the joys of movie clips on the internet, I am finding....



It turns out .avi files are even worse as they can be created using very many different 'codecs' and you need the right one to be able to play it.

Can't imagine why Quicktime p_layer_ doesn't play the .mov's ? Does it give you a reason/error message ?



I aim to have all clips in .mpg format as well as .mov soon - it just takes a bit of doing !



I've quite a few new ones as well so bear with us we'll get them up there.....

I'm using NT4 though @ work and Win2000 @ home.

I have tried to remove the sub_script_ion status from a couple of Forums several times with no success. When I click the "Edit my Preferences" button I get the following message

HI Gopher - as I mentioned in the PrivateMessage It works OK for me too. So I logged on under your ID (thx for the pw) and I get the same error as you !!!! - which suggests it's something to do with your account.



IN the short term you can go - rather than go into edit my preferences - go into each forum category and unsubscribe using the option on the top. I tried this for the first one 'Windsurfing venues' and it works OK.



I'll leave Bert to hack the code.........
