Jeez - sorry about the unpredictability of these forecasts, but - looks like the wind is up... at last....



I'm expecting F5/6 at Rhossy tomorrow - F3/4 at kirby, peaking at about 12.30...... I'm just cancelling all my appointments now and preparing for the long drive......



Windguru is also showing 22 - 24 kts SSW on sunday at Rhossy, although I've no idea what it's like there in that direction - 15kts SSW at kirby....



Having said all that, the BBC in their wisdom have opted for something entirely different and are showing 21kts N at Rhossy on Friday??

Shawn...where are you headed off to tomorrow. I am asking as I remember you saying that you are in stockport...I have started working in Ashton and can only get out of work at 12ish tomorrow- how long will that take to Rhossy/WK ?

Ireckon it takes pretty much bang on 2 hours at about 80 or 90from moptorway junction to pulling up at the beach. If you're in a mega rush it can take about 1hr 45.



There were quite a few cameras en-route last time - one just before the 2nd or 3rd tunnel near some road works, and also 1 sneaky sod with a radar gun on the main road once on anglesea - although he was quite easy to spot - black car parked in a funny spot on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
