We’ve managed to persuade several water companies to inform us when sewage is discharged at some of your favourite beaches around the UK. We are ready to pass this information onto you in real time, so you can make informed decisions about when and how you use the sea.

This service will be available at just over 50 beaches in 2011. But we are campaigning for all bathing waters in the UK that have CSOs discharging sewage to be included in our Sewage Alert Service.
