Promising forecast for Friday afternoon F4 WNW. I will be there for an after work session at 4:15. No wind for weeks and gagging for a sail!!

Current conditions are variable 18 / 25mph gusting to over 30mph from the west, with a good forecast for the rest of the day (I work just down the road and have a weather station in the office).
If the cloud cover Vale of York clears and the NW remains cloudy this can cause the wind over the penines to be accelarated, could be F6 at the lake!!
