looks better than i remembered there. i was hoping for the 10 second period magicseaweed.com was suggesting, but it looked more like 4 seconds when i was there and closing out.

north west can be good there too. here's a few pics of it on a good day.

I'll hopefully be down that way again in a couple of weeks with work, so we'll see what the conditions bring. Would be good to have some company, it's usually me on my own.

I'm up for meeting at different locations. Now I've got my 'Bongo' I'm travelling more to different places but whilst I'll happily (and often do) sail alone at my local spots I'd rather not at somewhere new. I'll always chk this forum as well as the usual weather sites prior to a road trip so if like minded people (eg. TwoFish?) do the same it'd great to meet up.
Cheers. Rich.

Rich, excellent. That's pretty much where I'm coming from too. S / SW is obvious 'off to Rhossi with the masses' conditions for me, but for other directions I'd prefer to hook up with some others and so tend to pop up here on Thursday/Friday each week to see what plans are.

That said, this weekend I may head to Rhossi to see what's going on with the UKWA event, even if the forecast does look crap from here.

Hey Bob - no worries! If you see the green machine, give me a wave. My legs are still sore now...

Mondays session was even better! Dinas is a good spot in a SE, but watch the high tides. Anything more than a 8.5 gets a bit shingle tastic in the shorebreak.

Check out http://www.seaspritesports.com/news/article164.php for what Dinas is capable of. On its day I reckon its better than Rhossy!

This weekend is looking pretty light, might be some surf but only small stuff. If you've got an SUP, you might get some business done!

Next time I see the green machine, i'll hopefully be in the water or about to go in.

I had seen the article before, which was one of the reasons I was keen to give it a try. Hopefully the wind'll stick around or be a bit stronger next time.

As for the Paddleboard, that's on the shopping list, but sadly it takes a while for things to be bought since the little one costs a bit. Then again I'll be able to paddle around with him on the front next year. That'll be a good into to surfing for him, or put him off for life.

It'd be good to have a few others about too, so will see what others are up to next time over that way, or end up with the masses at Rhossy!
