Anyone feel like sticking a small flag / windmill / pole with a rag on it on the railing that you can see at the bottom of the picture on the webcam to help with wind judging.

This would of course be an 'unofficial' indicator which I fully expect to be ripped off by the scallys hanging round Safeways but if everyone passing stuck something up then there would be something there for at least some of the time.



Or How about one of the guys with a van stick their aerial up and hang something on it at the end of the car park. Not so good though.

THAT LAMP POST WOULD MAKE A GOOD FLAG POLE! GET ONE OF THE LOCAL SCALLIES TO SHIMMER UP IT.

How about you guys all pay 1 a month each to Wirralcam to support the camera and we will put up a weather station...?

Perhaps sponsorship of WWW from your good self by providing stickers with your webcam site name that could be displayed on winsurfers sails at WK may be tempting enough to get that weather station going. I wouldn't mind displaying your logo in return for the added camera features. How do others feel?
